Citizens For Safer Streets is a citizens watchdog group of individuals primarily in Texas but with supporters across the country. We are concerned about traffic safety and real solutions to solve our traffic problems. This site is necessary to combat the several supposed citizen groups that are really mouthpieces for corporations that sell traffic technologies like red light cameras and speed cameras to cities. Their only purpose is to protect their profits. We have no corporate ties. We promise to bring you the facts on this issue so you can make your own informed decisions. We use public information requests for documents and only cite studies from well known organizations and universities with no industry ties. We accept no donations and have no political party affiliations. Please take a look around and contact us with any questions or if you need help in your town. NOTE, we are not attorneys and nothing on this website is meant to be legal advice. Please consult an attorney for any legal questions you might have.
